Zack Frechette

Zack Frechette was elected the President and CEO of United Insurance on January 1, 2021, following a unanimous shareholder vote and eight years serving the company in various leadership roles.

Zack began his career at United Insurance in 2013 as Vice President and Account Executive of United Insurance Rumford, previously known as the Western Maine Agency. After his first year, he was promoted to Agency Manager and quickly proved to be an industry expert, sales leader, and respected manager. Before long, he was promoted to COO and joined the Board of Directors. Today, Zack is responsible for the oversight and strategic management of all United Insurance locations throughout Maine and New Hampshire. He works diligently to ensure the company’s success as the region’s fastest-growing independent and privately owned insurance agency.

Before United Insurance, Zack began his career at the Dowling & O’Neil Agency in Hyannis, MA where he supported the agency’s business operations. He later joined CNA as an Underwriter, specializing in the creation of insurance programs for large contracting, manufacturing, and commercial real estate risks across New England. Zack graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Management. He currently holds his CIC and CLCS designations.
