Ann’s favorite part of her job is the people; the talented and caring professionals that make the organization. At United, Ann has made a direct impact on the overall employee experience by working closely with United Insurance’s leadership team and employees at every level. Ann’s efforts have helped foster a culture based on collaboration, innovation, and a sense of community. She loves finding solutions to complex HR issues, navigating new policies, and supporting the development and growth of employees. “It’s incredibly rewarding to help employees develop new skills and achieve their career goals.”
In her first year on the job, Ann was empowered to develop, streamline, and implement programs that have helped employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction. “I’m proud of the meaningful changes I’ve made in a short period of time.” Ann believes that United’s focus on employee well-being, work/life balance, and community involvement is something all employees can experience with policies like the flexible hybrid work schedule, fitness reimbursements, a generous PTO policy, partnerships with non-profit organizations, and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
