Deborah Wentworth

Throughout her 30+ year career, Deb Wentworth has held various industry-specific leadership roles at MEMIC, Hanover Insurance, and most recently managing agency business, personal lines, and employee benefit service teams at Clark Insurance/MMA. 

Deb’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Husson University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has also earned several professional designations, including Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), and Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS). She has participated in numerous leadership courses, including Dale Cargine, the Kellogg’s Executive Leadership program at Northwestern, and the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Program. 

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Deb was honored with the 2022 Lee G. Allen President’s Award of Excellence by the Maine CPCU Society Chapter and was named Insurance Professional of the Year in 2011.  

Deb is very active in the community, serving on the board of the Southern Maine Red Cross and as the State Chair for Maine Million Women Mentors. Previously she served on the Husson Alumni board. In 2023, Deb was featured in the Women of New England insurance edition, further highlighting her accomplishments and recognition in the industry.  

Deb resides in Falmouth, ME, and has two children. Sarah is a recent UMaine graduate, now in the Sports Management Graduate program at the University of South Carolina, and Ben is currently a junior at UMaine.
