United Insurance Expands into Massachusetts

From a single agency founded by a Civil War veteran in Fort Fairfield, United Insurance has grown throughout Maine and New Hampshire. Today, we’re proud to make an announcement that Henry O. Perry never could have imagined back in 1868: our first-ever office in Massachusetts, is open for business. 

With its convenient coastal setting, many historic homes, and mid-sized businesses, Newburyport, fits well with United Insurance’s personal insurance and commercial insurance expertise. Partner, Senior Vice President Chris Miller oversees the new location and has been an integral part of the organization since 2007, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial clients across New England. Andrew LaMonica, a Personal Lines Account Executive with five years of experience, joins Miller in the Newburyport office in the heart of downtown.

While this is our first office in the Bay State, United Insurance has been insuring hundreds of Massachusetts residents’ summer homes, camps, ski condos, and beach houses for years. Chris and Andrew are excited to connect with their new neighbors in Newburyport and the North Shore area to share how our “relationships are everything” approach can change the way they think about insurance.
