After attending college, Sharon relocated to Bangor, ME and took a position as an Assistant Account Manager in the personal lines department with a local firm. Sharon soon realized her roots belonged in The County and decided to relocate back home, which is where she began her career with United Insurance Presque Isle. For over 32 years, Sharon has specialized her craft as a Personal Lines Account Manager eventually advancing as the supervisor for her department. Sharon continues to build strong relationships with her clients, coworkers, carriers, and underwriters she works with each day. “My philosophy is to work hard to do the right thing for my clients and our carriers.”

Most recently, Sharon was promoted to Training Coordinator while maintaining core account management responsibilities. Sharon enjoys that she can continue to grow while still working with the clients that she loves, some of whom she has worked with since she started. Her new role allows her to share all the insurance knowledge and experience she has gained over her career with her colleagues.
