Kristy Marquis had been working for a local credit union and felt like she needed something more. So, when she saw a position open up at United Insurance, she decided to go for it. 17 years later Kristy has built up an impressive book of business that speaks to her commitment to her clients and to her career at United Insurance. Kristy treats her clients like family, saying “I know what I would want for coverage. I like to make sure my clients have what they need and they know what I’m talking about. Insurance can be hard to understand! If I had no idea about something important, I would hope someone would tell me.” Also a mother, the family-friendly environment of United Insurance helped Kristy build a career on her terms.  “Family definitely comes first. That’s a really big thing for me.”  Kristy likes that she is supported to be more involved in her community as well. From community events like “Trunk or Treat” to raising money for families in need with “Jeans on Friday,” United Insurance’s commitment to the community stands out. “You feel more a part of the community.”
