James Walton

Jim Walton, a life-long Maine resident, joined United Insurance in 2023 after 35 years in the customer service industry with Hannaford.  Most recently he worked with Nutrien Ag Solutions, as the Digital Adoption Lead for the Northeast Cornbelt, managing a distributed team across 9 states and over 200 retail locations. While working in retail and corporate settings, Jim led training efforts for multiple companies. The common denominator was Jim’s focus on supporting others in their development and growth. He is excited to learn about the Insurance Industry and grow with the United Insurance family and clients.

He and his wife Elaine of 35 years have two sons and four grandchildren. Jim loves the outdoors (swimming, hiking, fishing, time with family) and all that Maine has to offer.
