Scott Twitchell

Scott Twitchell joined United Insurance, and brought with him nearly 35 years of management and commercial lines experience. Scott previously held positions as National Practice Leader at TD Insurance, which later was acquired by USI Insurance. Scott became President of USI Insurance Maine, and most recently was the Executive Vice President at Clark Insurance.  He has a tremendous amount of experience in business development and overall agency management. Numerous energy organizations throughout New England consult with Scott regarding complex claims and insurance coverage. As a former management team member at Dead River Company, Scott has used his “hands on” experience to design insurance programs for the fuel industry.

Scott is a long-time member of MEMA, a state board member of Junior Achievement of Maine, and an active participant/coach in the Cumberland community. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowdoin College, and holds a CIC designation.

Scott lives in Cumberland Center with his wife, Kim, and their two children Mykaela and Ryan.
