Welcoming Gallagher Insurance to the United Insurance Team

As Maine’s fastest-growing independent insurance agency, we have worked diligently to build a dedicated team of professionals to serve the people and businesses in our communities. We’re thrilled to welcome Gallagher Insurance to our expanding team at United Insurance.  

Gallagher Insurance was founded by E Gerald (Jerry) Gallagher at his Presque Isle home in 1985. In 1989, he purchased the Nelson Insurance Agency, and the E.G. Gallagher Agency moved to 562 Main Street in Caribou. Jerry Gallagher’s son-in-law Brian Sipe joined the agency in 1995, became a partner in 1997, and purchased the agency outright in 1999. Brian and his team serve over 1,400 commercial and personal insurance clients from their Main Street Caribou office. Joining the United Insurance team are Agency Manager Brian Sipe, Account Manager Allana Rideout, and Account Manager Stacy Robey.
