Margaret Ellis

Margaret joined United Insurance in 2025, bringing with her over 40 years of experience in the financial industry. Prior to this, she worked at Barresi Financial for 27 years and spent 16 years at the accounting firm Chester M. Kearney.

Having lived in Aroostook County her entire life, Margaret enjoys a variety of activities in her spare time. She loves spending time with her family, taking walks, gardening, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, and motorcycling. Margaret has been married to her husband, Steve, for 19 years. Together, they have a blended family that includes six children, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. They also enjoy attending their grandkids’ sporting events.
